Do you remember playing tag when you were 4 or 5? There was always some other kid that, whenever you tagged them, they would shout "NEW RULE!" and come up with some stupid reason why you can't have just tagged them.
The game's a lot more irritating when you are 35 and the game has higher stakes.
I agree, it is much more irritating when you're grown up and it's real life, not just a game of tag. Does this have anything to do with the new educator license requirements? Or just the general bureaucracy of the school district?
ReplyDeleteI'm hoping it's not about the new educator license requirements. However, since I applied for a new accreditation in early June and have not yet received my new license, it may indeed fall into the same category.
ReplyDeleteThe situation I'm referring to is fairly similar: Between the time that I applied for something and the application was processed, the policy changed (about 3-fold at current count). Since it is the new policy and there is no grandfather clause - as of yet, I'm just outta luck.
