Concerning croissants

Perhaps they are so flaky because they are French!

  2. Funny how an adjective so complimentary for pastries is so NOT for a country.

    I've never cared much for France...I'd never want to visit it and it's militant secular culture--not even for the Eiffel Tower--or ever learn to speak it but they aren't all bad (or weren't) cause I still love our Statue of Liberty.
