The 12th of January was a Wednesday, so I started out my morning by teaching class. The students used Microsoft Word to create a menu. Today was the first day of a 2 day assignment.
After class, since it was so close to the beginning of they semester, I needed to run my usual script to create student folders on the server. This is the list of things that I needed to do manually after the script had run.
On of the projects that I got to work on today was a laptop cart that wasn't getting power even when plugged in. If you look closely at the plug, there's quite a bit of carbon scoring on the ends of the plug. So we replaced the plug and all was fine. And I got this nifty Polish power tester - win/win!
Last night we had undecorated the tree and so it was bare and waiting to be disposed of when I got home.
Through my day, I realized that I forgot to eat lunch. Melissa had made some chicken salad, so I threw some on some bread and had a small sandwich.
Tonight was youth. Normally this year, we have been at the Cherry Creek house, however since they had finals this week, it was cancelled. So instead, we went to the Farrells' house and hung out with some other great students that we hadn't connected with much this year.
A favorite sight for me when visiting the Farrell Casa: The pile of shoes by the door. I don't know why I always think that this is so fun, I just do! And it's my blog, so deal with it! :)
With the tree gone, the music room was returned back to its standard disarray.
Got to enjoy a little light reading after they kids went to bed. Still hoping for an upcoming opportunity at becoming the Director of Technology Services for the district.
Heading up to bed, I needed 3 final pictures to round out the 12 of 12. Here's the set of Christmas cards that we got this year.
This was a Lego project that was on the floor. Alex is really getting more creative with his creations.
Grab a quick bedtime snack and off to bed!
